Building an inclusive community

Dalhousie is committed to growing the number of diverse scholars pursuing graduate degrees at the university. We encourage you to complete the self-identification section of the scholarship application. This information supports our efforts to prioritize your application in the evaluation processes for major awards.听

In particular, we are working to ensure access for students of African Nova Scotian and Mi鈥檏maq decent. To help build a pathway for these students, each year we reserve Nova Scotia Graduate Scholarships at the听尘补蝉迟别谤鈥檚听补苍诲听doctoral听level for eligible African Nova Scotian and Mi鈥檏maq applicants.

We also offer dedicated scholarships, including the听African Nova Scotian Graduate Scholarship,听James Robinson Johnston Graduate Entrance Scholarship for African Canadians, and the听Indigenous Graduate Scholarship, which you will find among the funding opportunities below.
